Dance, Baby, Dance!

For Halloween this year Jadyn was a ballerina. It was a well planned and thought out decision based on the fact that come the new year, we will be decorating her room with a ballet theme.

Jadyn has never been to a dance class or even watched dancing on TV, however the natural ability & passion she has for dancing & music far surpasses what Paige & Coleton ever displayed. Because of this, Elmo and I have decided to nurture and support her love even at this early age. Unfortunately, none of the classes here start until kids are 3...she has a whole year to wait. Until then, we let her dance her little heart out at home...and boy does she ever.

One day as she was dancing in full costume (a recent addition to her dance obsession...her Tutu.) I thought, "Hmm...I should take some pictures to print out as decoration for her room." So, I did.

They were OK, but the clutter in the backgrounds made them less attractive...dolls & bears & a kitchen set...you get the ides. I did some research (courtesy of the WWW) and learned a little about photo editing. After MANY hours of work on some of the best shots, these are what I was able to make













So now, not only do I have a color inspiration for her room, but 2 BEAUTIFUL 24 x 36 pieces of artwork to boot. I LOVE growing up in the digital age.
