Anyway, I mention this because I somehow hit the lottery when it comes to sibling love with my kids. Don't get me wrong, there are those moments where I need to step in and separate a dispute, but for the most part, all 3 of my kids are inseparable...best friends...and very protective of each other.
This morning, Jadyn was walking around saying "where's my BRAWER?" I didn't understand what she was asking me, until the 40th time, when she changed BRAWER to COLETON. She was asking me "where's my brother?" It was so sweet!
Coleton & Paige are so lucky to have each other. They stick up for each other when ever they feel like they need to. Paige helps Coleton reach items that he's too little to get himself, backs him up when he's trying to get a story out (fills in the blanks), invites him into her room to play, reads him bedtime stories, comforts and cheers him up when he's feeling down...the list goes on an on...Coleton is so compassionate, and always makes sure that Paige (who is very emotional lately) is happy, by asking her to play games or walking by her room doing some silly dance.
Jadyn is so lucky to have such a caring and supportive big brother & sister. Coleton always helps her first, whether it's with her shoes, going potty, brushing her knees off when she falls...He's so great with her and does everything that a big brother should do, whether it's running around the house with her on his back, playing duck duck goose or ring around the rosies, or rubbing her back when she's watching TV. Paige is so sweet with making sure Jadyn had everything she needs to be happy, and loves to play with her. She is just like another mom to Jadyn, but without the discipline.
