I have been having the same dilemma lately. For the past week or so, Jadyn has been waking up around midnight to climb into bed with us. Normally I wouldn't mind...she is, after all, my last baby and these days of cuddling will pass ever too quickly. However, it isn't only Jadyn who joins us...she brings at least 4 of her "babies" along as well. How she manages to gather & carry all of her babies to our room while walking in a sleepy daze is beyond me, but yet she does. Once I manage to wake up enough to lift her up (and her hoard of friends) and put her between us, it becomes necessary to arrange her friends in such a way that I am not laying on a hard plastic hand or head.
In addition to a now (very) crowded bed, Jadyn doesn't like to cover up...at all. Therefore, Elmo and I sacrifice our tops being warm...at least until Jadyn falls asleep. She also likes to sleep vertically, making a "H" out of us...not very comfortable. I must have a "good" 12" of bed that I can use once we're settled.
This little Goldilocks better find another bed that is "just right" very soon. Mama bear needs her sleep before she really DOES turn into a bear!
What's wrong with her bed anyway??

She and Maggie must be talking to each other! They do the exact Same thing! Even down to the no covers and the "H"! Just add Maggie's 3 lovie blankets (which she wraps around her head) and yep... they are the same.
We wouldn't necessarily have a problem with it either.... but, we only have a full size bed. (it was so romantic to snuggle.... pre-kid!)
Maggie even refuses to nap in her room, it's always on our bed. urgg...
I feel your pain totally and completely.
I feel for you...at least we have a king. The only reason I'm so squished is b/c she has to be RIGHT next to...scratch that...ONTOP of me when she sleeps. Elmo has LOTS of room...not me. Why is it that the moms always seem to be the ones to sacrifice?
At least Jadyn naps (and falls asleep) in her room. I wonder if she has nightmares now? She just started to realize that things can be scary!
